We make sturdy Cannon Wheels in many sizes, and
for different budgets. All of our Cannon Wheels are made from solid
Hickory with double steel banded hubs and 3/16” steel rims.
We have divided them into two categories; Small and Large Hub. The
top row of images show the small hub Cannon Wheels, the next row shows
the larger Hub wheels. If you're looking for lower cost, the small
hub wheels are great, as they are true cannon wheels, though the hub
and felloe to spoke ratio has been sized down. Great looking wheel,
but easier for us to make, so you will save money on these. The larger
Hub Cannon wheels fit the bill if you need to make an impression,
be historicaly accurate, or carry heavy loads. These wheels provide
the massive look, strength, and performance that many of our customers
demand.
All of our Cannnon wheels can be fitted with simple steel tubing for
the axle of your choice such as steel pipe, or they can be fitted
with roller bearing boxings and matched up with machined axles for
superior strength and very smooth movement. Below you will find several
options. Keep in mind that you have more options, as we do custom
work daily. While these cannon wheels do the job for most customers,
many of the specs can be changed.
We can also build off of your existing Cannon wheel hubs to provide
you with a new wheel which will fit your existing axles. We’ve
built hundreds this way, as the hub is usually last to go on vintage
wheels. Provide us with the size needed, we’ll have your hubs
picked up from your porch, and return a rock solid replica of your
wheel in about one month. And we will do it for a very fair price.

be fair to our customers, we do not offer flat shipping rates. For
orders over 70 lbs. you will need to make multiple orders or
simply call us. With flat rate shipping, the customer more often than
not pays more than they need to, and that really adds up when ordering
multiple large wheels. Orders over 200 lbs. qualify for our discount
through Fed Ex Freight. |

Finishing Stain and Varnish your wheels
We offer stains in light or dark colors which bring
out the grain in your Cannon wheels, accenting the wood rather than
covering with paint. We can contract out painting if you prefer. If
you wish to paint yourself, expect your wheels to come sanded smoothly
to make the job easier. |
